Welcome to Eventbuddys

If you are anything like me you will often find yourself hearing of a great concert or a fun event you would love to enjoy but you have no one to go with. This has led me to the idea of this website and to my goal, which is to provide a place for you to meet someone or a group of people who are interested in the same event that you are interested in and get connected ! 

My Vision:I will make available all kinds of links to different local papers such as The Vancouver Sun , ticket venues(Ticketmaster), concert halls(The Commodore), radio stations (CFox) and local papers (The Straight) showing what is going on around town. Next, you hit the blog page or event sign up page and either I will get an event started, you can start an event or just simply sign up for one. Here is the really great part, you can chat and meet people through the blogs or get to chatting through other mediums such as msn or facebook but the whole idea is to have enough people sign-up for an event so that you can feel secure in your attendance.   

This type of set up eliminates some major problems that I am sure we have all been faced with in the past- BEING STUCK WITH EXTRA TICKETS. We all have gone through this but I would love to help you see that event you've been dying to go to.  There are other issues but lets get to the good stuff and put these follies in the past. 

I know it is hard to meet new people and so I am hoping to open up the options for people who want to meet up in a group setting and enjoy themselves with others with similar interests. Make new friends, enjoy networking opportunities, feel safe while meeting in public to attend the event, these are the goals that I would like to see you attain. To me this is a fantastic concept which can potentially eliminate the stress of cancellations or even dating blunders. 

I will be adding many different aspects to this site as I grow and learn new things about managing a website but the main purpose of helping people connect and enjoy safe, fun entertainment will always be my number one focus.
